I had a blast watching Cars, and not just because I watched it in a car at the drive in. It was a colorful and spunky movie. Cars is by no means deep in any manner, its just pure lighthearted entertainment.

Cars is the story of a hotshot talking car named Lightning McQueen who is on route through the country to the big Piston Cup Championship. On his way there he runs across a small town called Radiator Springs and accidentally tears up some of their road. To make up for this he is sentenced to community service and cannot leave the town. At first all he can think about is getting back to his fancy life of corporate sponsorships, but eventually the residents of the town start to grow on him. Through it all Lightning McQueen learns some valuable life lessons about friendship, respect, love and what it takes to be a real winner.

This is bound to be a fun watch for the whole family.
